Every number on this site comes from the public files of Brazil's Superior Electoral Court (TSE): its Open Data Portal and its results site.

Before publishing, the processing checks the numbers against TSE's own. It checks the votes and turnout of each polling station, each candidate's votes per municipality and zone, where TSE publishes that file, and the totals of each race per state and for Brazil. If one number does not match, nothing is published.
